We arguable could not have experienced more complication on our full house renovation. We choose a house with unique architecture and an unknown history. I was a long distance commuting client with a very particular aesthetic. Then, a pandemic (!) which required the bulk of all-important finishing decisions to be discussed and determined remotely.
Despite these challenges, the experience with Stuart & Shelby was outstanding. They are forward thinking, responsive, organized and fair. Chuck runs a good business. The subcontractors they use are also excellent. My project manager David Stein was super communicative, proactive and an excellent problem solver. A special mention that Dave was always pleasant, even under pressure.
This project was my fifth large renovation and I always brace myself for a arduous experience For the first time with Stuart & Shelby, the experience was different. it was actually enjoyable. The house was completed on time and as promised. The finished product is stunning and the house is all that we hoped for
