I bought a 1970s home in Ocean Ridge, FL.  I hired GE Architecture as the architect on a tear down (also known as a remodel since I held a few walls) project that I looked to transform from a small ranch to a Key West style villa. We grew the house from 1400 sq. ft. to ~2500 sq. ft   It was important to me that the builder I hire had a long standing relationship with the architect.

Gary from GE recommended 5 builders and after inspection and negotiation I hired Stuart and Shelby working with both Chuck and Bill.

It was a good experience in working the costing of the build.  Bill had numerous suggestions along the way to insure I would get best value for the home I was building.

I temporarily moved to Boca Raton from Colorado.  This enabled me to stay in close contact during the building process.  I was actively engaged during this period.  The result was that we caught details early on that would have ended up on the punch list and in catching them early we kept cost down for both Stuart and Shelby and myself.  Further in staying involved we were able to make real time decisions on changes or additions while the house was being built. Changes can be hard but Bill was great in the process

The actual build was managed by Javier.  A task master is the best way to describe him as he orchestrated the schedule of the sub-contractors which I learned can be a challenge in south Florida. Javier also worked the punch list which we completed in 30 days

All in all I am very happy with the outcome of the house built and team of GE Architecture and Stuart and Shelby
